<aside> 💬 “I was turning 60 and wanted to lose a little bit of weight but more importantly move forward as a fitter person. However, I knew it wasn't going to be easy as I had tried going to the gym before but it never lasted long and I particularly struggled going on my own.

I engaged Tim as personal trainer for a 10 week period. Each week Tim discusses what muscles we will be focussing on and how this fits in with my long term goal. He is always very encouraging and happy to explain the exercises and answer my questions - in fact he is very easy company and as a result I am always comfortable at our gym sessions.

Tim has supplied me with a plan to work to when I go to the gym on my own. It contains a list of the machines to use and my personal settings - i.e weight and seat adjustment levels. This has been brilliant as it has enabled me to be confident when I go alone.

My 10 weeks are coming to an end, but we are going to continue with a further 10 sessions. Although I'm happy going on my own now - I get so much more from our sessions I'm not quite ready to give them up! Needless to say, I would highly recommend Tim as a Personal Trainer.” JW

“When I started training with Tim I lacked any self-confidence, having always grown up skinny and without the knowledge or guidance to focus on my fitness. Although I now had the motivation, the gym is an overwhelming and intimidating place for a beginner. I sought the advice of a personal trainer, and in Tim found a friendly face to confront my fears and kickstart my fitness journey.

Tim taught me that fitness wasn’t all about grunting and heavy weights - nutrition, recovery and mobility are all crucial foundations to making and sustaining progress.
